Parker's Best Buddy

There's one thing that Parker loves more than anything right now...our cat, Cinders. Everytime that cat walks in the room, he lights up. He starts kicking his legs and opening and closing the fist of his hand as fast as he can and breathes really fast and hard. It's hilarious! And what's funny is that Cinders loves him just as much. She'll start purring and go over to him and snuggle with him. I feel bad for her because Parker, being only 6 months old, just can't get enough of pulling her tail and grabbing her furr as tight and hard as he possibly can. Apparently, it doesn't affect Cinders though, because she always goes back for more, purring and all. So, I thought I'd share this lovely bond that they have together. It's a true friendship.

Hey, we're on TV!

Video: Allyis on Evening Magazine

You can see Samantha at the very beginning of the video, she's a lion. She was pretty scared of the camera, but they got her before she turned around and buried her face in my knees. I'm in there also, look for Indiana Jones in the background of the interviews. Parker is in there too at some point. Alas, Monique didn't make it on the TV. Maybe next time.

Happy Turkey Day!!!

Our Thanksgiving turned out great! It was so nice to be able to spend it with family. We ended up spending the day at Jeremy's parent's house. Samantha was so excited to see everyone. She loves it there! We started the day off just hanging out, eating snacks, and trying to get the kids to nap...ya right! Well, 1 out of 4 slept, so that was good.
Here's Parker, happy as can be after attempting to take his nap. Jeremy and I were in charge of the turkey this year and decided to do it a little different. I called around and ended up getting it smoked at Stan's BBQ in Issaquah. It turned out to be a really good idea. It tasted wonderful! I think we may do it next year too.
Jer got a carving knife for Christmas last year and decided to try it out!
Here's Rohne, Samantha, and Taylee trying to decide what they like and don't like.
Parker's Thanksgiving feast consisted of green beans and fruit...yum! After our Thanksgiving dinner the kids watched a movie, while everyone else cleaned and got some more chit chat in. We eventually played Settlers of Catan and got sick eating pie. It was great!
Sam, relaxing in Rohne's Spiderman chair, while wearing a witch's costume dress. Her and Taylee just can't get enough of "dress up." Samantha and Jessica having a little one on one time together. How cute!

Sam and Parker's moments

Both our kids have things they love...Samantha's new favorite thing is dancing and being a ballerina. Parker loves to smile and just be cute. Samantha keeps talking about ballet school, and of course, that's not in our budget. I keep trying to convince her that dancing at home is so fun! I put on "ballet music" which is just Fantasia, the movie. She loves it though. I guess I'll just keep distracting her with that until she realizes what I'm doing. It's so hard because she also wants to play soccer too and she's already been doing swimming, which she really likes. She can't do everything!!! Maybe when she gets a little older she can decide and we'll invest in that. She's only 3! Time will tell. Grumpy Princess Sam twirling with her wand. Her new favorite "move." Parker, all smiles. Notice the two teeth??? Hard to see, I know.

Bathtime!

The latest picture of our two kiddos. Parker just can't keep his hands to himself...ever!

My First Blog...

Well, I guess the Klein family has finally joined the blogging community. Jeremy informed me the other day that he made us a blog, which I had been bugging him about for awhile. Of course he used his domain name that he uses for his portfolio for work, but oh well. I wasn't thrilled, but I'll get used to it! Jeremy and I have been married for 5+ years now and have a 3 year old, Samantha May and a 6 month old, Parker James. We live in Renton, Wa and absolutley love it! Jeremy and I both grew up here, so this is home. We have a house that we bought almost 2 years ago. It's been a major fixer upper, but it's getting there. We hope you enjoy sharing our family photos and good times with us. Let the blogging begin...

Parker's first M's game and Sam's second one. We had a blast!
